Movement Queue - how to deactivate?

I have always found the movement queue extremely irritating. Often, after giving a unit an order, you will be taken far away from its location to distant hexes - other planets, etc. Is there anyway to turn this off? Thank you.

yes - i copied the EFS folder and did the Reality & Emperor mod changes to it. Both its EFS & Hyperion executables work. The game does open more slowly (length of blank screen duration) than it did on my XP computer. I tried different compatibilities but the results were similar. But - I can...

Thank you very much - it worked for EFS and for the Nova mod as well. It did not work for the Reality mod so I'll have to create a new reality folder - hopefully, it'll go okay.

The reg file didn't automatically load into the registry - I had to enter it manually and think I did it correctly

In the Technology table (TECH.DAT), I see code numbers for required techs but not for the actual technology. For example, in vanilla EFS, the techs needed for "Cyberpilot" are 12, 24, and 56. However, I don't see any code number for Cyberpilot itself. Does anyone know where this can be fou...

galaxy.gal - use in different mod?

I was curious to see what the Galaxy.gal from the Reality Emperor Wars mod would look like in Nova - but it seems that it won't run. That is, i get a blank screen partway through the opening choices when I run Nova. Is there a way to get the Galaxy.gal from Emperor to run in Nova? Thank you.
