I'm not sure I understand you correctly. Why do you think being able to set a planet's sect to something other than Orthodoxy is a bug? Normally resource markers aren't assignable to a faction. This is because in the SRTBUILD.DAT they are neutral by default (interestingly so are ruins and alien ruins, but monostaries are not neutral). If you want them to be assignable, then set the neutral value to 0... a value of 1 in this column m...
