(Cross posting myself from another thread) Speaking of implementing more game features, I have never done PBEM myself (other than testing), and I have only played EFS1.4 (Hyperion 1.4g) thru once (exploiting the one Noblesse Elitesse super noble you get at start), thus I may not be the best authorit...

You've put thought into how to build a functioning AI, which is reassuring! I'll certainly dig into the Symbiot demo and test it out when it's ready. Down the road when EFS 1.4 style play is largely complete, do you plan to expand the game's possibilities at all? Fully functioning Church mechanics ...

AI is what I'm looking forward to most! Do you plan to build up AI profiles for each type of entity (Rebels, Symbiots, Houses, Church, Vau, League) as Phoenix progresses? Some of the weakest points of the EFS AI are the minimal Vau AI and inability for Rebels to produce new units. (Doing AI is what...

Phoenix is the only one I'm aware of with any activity. Flowerpot posted a little over a month ago about the latest release in this thread , in fact. It's come a long way! Hey, Last friday night (27.11.2015) at 19:03:00 GMT +0200 during a Phoenix test game, symbiot units conquered rebel cities on A...

Version 0.50.0 released The link to the downloads is in the first post. A barebones website is "up", the link is in the first post. The only attraction there is a link to a youtube video with Phoenix 0.50.0 running. New in this version (Notice: previous published release version was numbe...

Re: EFS.EXE or EFSHYP.EXE for Emperor Wars - Reality Mod?

Is it better to use the Hyperion version of EFS.EXE (EFSHYP.EXE) for this mod? Thank you. IIRC the Hyperion exe's difference is that it allows the symbiots to build spaceships and boosts the leagua agora restocking resource amounts. Symbiots can't build spaceships in the standard exe, thus the Hype...

Some epic progress since version 3 :D Yeah, I have gotten farther than I thought I would :D Very glad to see you're still working on this! The new unit build menu blew my mind (in the best of ways). Well, in my first post to this forum I said "Exe replacement meaning i would try to recreate ef...

This took longer than expected but a new release is out, Version 0.9.1. The download link is in the first post. In short, resources, unit building and research & technologies are implemented. New in version 0.9.1 (and 0.9.0) There is a bug in Hyperion 1.4g which prevents Phoenix from loading DAT...

I appreciate you contributions greatly. But I'm finding this collaboration too hard to handle :( I'm thinking I would like to give up collaborating soon. I think that would be for the best, unfortunately. Now that spring is here, I'd quite like to be spending more time outside anyway. So let's agre...

Okay, I just digged netbeans.org and apparently there is format on save feature in tools->options->editor->"on save". I'm gonna turn that on from now on. If there are no problems I keep it on. I've now switched it on too. I've set it too "All lines". This was a mistake by me. I ...

I just did a file copy commit of rsw2 followed by a merge to master. I'm not clear what you mean by a "file copy commit". I use git log on rsw2 to find which commit of master you merged with. Then I checkout that commit from master and make a new branch of it. Then I copy rsw2 sources ont...

How did you manage with the merge, was it ridden with conflicts, cause when I merged unit building it had big conflicts ? Well, I wasn't merging your unit-building into my version, so much as just adding my latest changes to your version. And I hadn't done very much. So there weren't that many conf...

OK. I've merged your latest uploaded revision with my latest local one, on new branch rsw2, and pushed that to my fork. Everything seems to be working. Ok, I checked that. How did you manage with the merge, was it ridden with conflicts, cause when I merged unit building it had big conflicts ? There...
