This is probably something simple, but i don't know what to do...
I've used editor with good effect for some time, but for few weeks, i can't get it to work-when i try to start it, it says that i lack required file .DLL WING32.DLL
I reinstalled the editor, i can't remember deleting any system files... dunno what hapenned.
And i have few nice ideas about new maps/scenarios.

Re: Problems with mapeditor
Try reinstalling WinG. I got mine in a zip file with the editor, so I dont know where to get it. But I can send mine to you if you dont have it anywhere.

I had this same problem, typed in the filename at google, and found a place to d/l it at, and it works fine.

Re: Problems with mapeditor
The map editor still doesent work. It says the dll is in the wrong folder and I can't see it to remove it.
Re: Problems with mapeditor
You need to put it into windows/system and only there.

Re: Problems with mapeditor
This is for 98, but it should be similar in other versions.
In windows explorer:
1. Select the folder you want to see hidden files in
2. View Menu > Folder Options > View Tab
3. The should be a bit near the top that looks kinda like this:
Hidden Files
Option one
Option two
Option three
4. Select the option that says show all files and hit ok
