Well, that's good to hear. I would like to try expanding on the game's roleplaying facet by using the forum as a sort of Senate floor for the House's representatives on Byzantium, and the open casting of votes.
1. the first reason is the possibility of secretly being elected as emperor
2. create a real purpose for the ministerial positions, the Imperial Eye would have to provide intelligence to the Senate, the Imperial Fleet would be responsible for fighting rebels and Symbiots, and the Garrison Commander would have to stop/eradicate the expansion of the Symbiot.
3. provide more opportunity for power struggles and (because there will be things for each player to do even when he does not have the turn file) reduce the 'dead game' effect.
The Senate would be a separate topic somewhere on the forums where roleplay would be a part of each post, and this topic would be for actual communication.
This is just an idea but I think it could add to the game. Also, do you have a galaxy/mod in mind? What House do you want (I call Decados)? Hopefully, once we have enough players, we can get through a few turns in the first few days if we all pass it on as quickly as possible since the games tend to start slow...

This is a map that has a few perks when compared to the Historical map for multiplayer games:
The historical map, because different houses had different difficulties of play, give unfair starting positions to some houses (I.E. Al Malik's proximity to the symbiot and Li Halan and Decados proximity to one another) Al malik classicaly got the shortest stick (wedged between Stigmata and the Li Halan Decados border). This map gives balance to the starting situation of all the houses and places Stigmata next to Byzantium II.
This map was specifically designed with Nova 2 in mind.
I, and I suspect many of you, am not familiar with this map.
I think all three of these are good reason to consider this map. Also, I think there should be someway to decide who is Decados- perhaps Kyrdian could PM Octavias with a number, and me and Graf could post our guesses?
other settings:
Universal Warehouse
Plague
Rebellions
Special Traits

You can also use the following secure online dice roller and copy me on the e-mail roll. Roll one 100 sided and whoever gets the highest wins.

I'm good with the historical. I don't mind the Al-Malik starting position. I like mixing it up with the Symbiots. Never tried the trojan mod, but good with me as well.

I'm still interested in a second game!
Also I have no house preferences ingame. They all have interesting role playing quirks. Seems no-one took the Hazat yet so I'll play their passionate nobles.
PS: I actually found the computer game before the pen and paper RPG, then found the RPG, dusted of the PC game whilst playing it and realised it was the same.
