Ok, I'm assuming that wolf don't want to. I'll do it. (I hate Li-Halan)
Plaese remind me which planets to watch for.
And this time I won't rush it, and give up.

We need everyone's e-mail, map101ca@yahoo.ca

How many, if any, trait points?

We should also Name this game, I recomend: RanNova

RanNova sounds good.

How about +6 for traits?

Does Intaweb want to be Li-Halan?

It takes a little time to find a good galaxy.

Li-Halan is OK probably for him then :p
I have on hdd hidden somewhere nice random galaxy, my friend gave me it, so im not sure is it common for all of you.
Rename this file to GALAXY.GAL (save your previous galaxy somewhere safe).
RanNova sounds good
I'm against traits, but if you must, then i have no other choice :p

That would be cool, then I wouldn't have to switch to be Li-Halan.

I was out for most of the day, but see that things are going fast even without me :D

traits + 6 is Ok ,
as always prefers Decados
mail werwolf_77@o2.pl

I also don't give my symphaty to Li Halan,
so I think it leaves Intaweb with setting the game up...

Okay, so tell me how does it work ? I mean traits. +6 means that we have to chose 6 "bad" traits and then 6 "good"? How is it?
Send galaxy to intaweb, someone...
Thanks map101ca!

Al pajs, go to the link I gave you in other post, then look at balancing traits. It'll explain it there.

Sorry Intaweb. However should be easy - change the galaxy file (al Pajs will e-mail it) - then start a historical (yes?) game with PBEM on, Security on, Universal Warehouse off (if everyone agrees to that) and then start. (It think you need to set the difficulty level to easy for all players so that we have free reign in choosing traits.

Cool.

I tried making a random galaxy, are the symbiots meant to have the "rebel" flag? Or is the map editor a bit wack.

Also i heard the hyperion efs.exe file has been changed to make the symbiots more active (build more spaceships), does it work with nova? It'll make the game more interesting!

Intaweb ! Its easy ! Download galaxy from This link , rename this file to GALAXY.GAL and replace it with original GALAXY.GAL file. Then start EFS and make Historical game, every player is human (brain :) Select traits for yourself by this formula (+6) and when you finish turn, send save file to next player.
Someone read this and correct if is wrong.

Intaweb: The editor and the game set up Rebel units in random galaxies differently. The game makes 0% loyal rebels, and the editor makes 75% loyal ones. Perhaps the rebel status of Symbiots is different too.

Regarding the ships, you need AXE to do it but it's easy. get Matt's latest Hyperion and you will have both the instructions and the already-edited EXE file. the Symbiots are capable of spreading across the galaxy if they are strong.

haha yeah i have figured out how to start it, and im all ready to go, but there hasn't been much (if any) response about using the hyperion exe file.

Is everyone ok with using it?
